Install the Endpoint Agent Browser Extension on macOS

If you are using Endpoint Agent Pulse, you can skip this section.
This section assumes you have installed the Endpoint Agent on macOS, but have not installed the Chrome browser extension.
On macOS, the Endpoint Agent supports the Google Chrome browser extension for Real User Tests. Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge extensions are not applicable on macOS.
If you installed the agent interactively using the .pkg installer, Chrome may open the extension page automatically. See Adding the ThousandEyes Chrome Extension in the macOS install guide.
The ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent browser extension is not discoverable from the Google Chrome store. Use the link below unless Chrome automatically directs you there.
Installing the browser extension requires access to the Google Web Store. If access is blocked, approve the following URL:

To install the Google Chrome extension:
Navigate to the Chrome Web Store page.
Click Add to Chrome.
Review the security dialog and click Add extension.
Restart the browser after the notification bubble appears.

Install the ThousandEyes Chrome extension once when you first install the Endpoint Agent. After initial installation, the extension updates automatically when a new version is published in the Chrome Web Store.
It can take up to four hours for the ThousandEyes Chrome extension to update after a new version is published.
For automated Chrome extension deployment, follow Google's instructions and use extension ID ddnennmeinlkhkmajmmfaojcnpddnpgb.
